Business Summit 2013 FAQ's
What is the purpose of the Business Summit?
We want to bring together men and women from around the world who all have a passion to reach the nations for Christ. Business plays a huge part in this effort and we want to hear from you and empower you to accomplish your dreams in making this happen. The theme of our Summit is: Discover. Create. Discuss.
What’s the address of where the Summit will be held?
We will be holding our Summit this year at the Youth With A Mission Strategic Frontiers Campus in Colorado Springs. The address is:

Can I pay upon arrival?
Yes. Register online for the summit and then you may pay when you arrive at the check-in table if you do not want to pay online. We accept cash, check or credit cards.
Can I pay by check?
Yes. You will need to make the check out to "YWAM" and when you register online you will need to make note that you are paying by check in your registration form. You may either mail the check to us or bring it when you arrive. Our mailing address is PO Box 63774, Colorado Springs, CO, 80962
Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes. We are using PayPal as our online credit card merchant and while you are encouraged to use PayPal as your payment choice, you may also choose to pay with a credit card. They will have you create a PayPal account as a part of this process but you may easily cancel your account if you are not wanting to have a PayPal account. In order to pay with a credit card, look for the link on the right hand side of the screen that says "Pay with Credit Card." It will then open a page with the fields to fill out.
Is my housing included in the price?
Yes, for a limited time. Emerge has access to a certain number of hotel rooms at the Youth With A Mission Campus where the event will be held. Once those rooms are completely filled, the price will be adjusted appropriately and you will need to find your own housing at one of the local hotels nearby.
Is my food included in the price?
Yes. All meals will be provided and prepared by our in-house chef.
During the payment process I got disconnected. How do I return to the payment page?
First off, make sure that you didn't actually end up paying. Then, if you haven't paid yet, visit this page and fill out the payment information again. We want this to be hassle free for you so if you have any questions at all while in this process, call our office at 719.695.0330.
Can I receive a refund if I cancel?
I made a change in my attendance of the summit, can I receive a partial refund?
Will I have my own room?
Yes. Each participant will have their own room. If you are coming with another person the cost for the room will be split. You will pay $120 per person less if you are rooming with someone. This does not apply to those coming with their spouse as we have already discounted that option.
I already registered, can I stay an extra night?
Yes, you will need to go to PayPal and pay $80 per extra night you will be staying with us.
I don't know my arrival/departure information yet. How do I register?
If I fly into Colorado Springs, is transportation included?
Yes. We will provide a shuttle pickup to and from the Colorado Springs Airport. All we need is your arrival/departure information when you register.
If I fly into Denver, is transportation included?
No. Unfortunately we will not be able to provide shuttle service to or from the Denver Airport.
Which doors do I enter once I arrive at the Summit venue?
Once you arrive at the Summit venue, the doors you will enter will be the doors labeled, "Ballroom" between the main entrance and the Kairos Coffee & Tea shop.
Do I still need to check in if I register online?
Yes. There will be a check-in table set up on Friday night prior to the initial banquet and opening session. Please make time to come and check-in to receive the conference material. If you are attending for only one day or less, you will also need to stop by the check-in table during the conference.
Can I attend only one day?
Yes. The cost for one day is $100 and includes all meals. Register online and choose the "One Day" option.
Do friends have to register if they only attend for a dinner or part of a day?
Yes. Register online and have them check-in when they arrive and they may pay using a credit card, cash, or check.
Can I have a exhibit to display my business/ministry?
What is the dress code for the Summit?
What are “TEDTalks?”
The format we are using this year are fifteen minute speaking sessions followed by ten minutes of Q&A from the audience. We've found that this format matches up with our theme of Discovery. Create. Discuss. as it gives opportunity for presentations but also a time of response as well. We've seen this work several times in the past and are excited at how it will add tremendous value to this Business Summit.
Does the cost of the Business Summit include golfing on Monday?
No. In the past, the Business Summit included a day of golfing on Monday. This year, the conference is separate from the Golfing Event. You may choose the golfing option during registration if you'd like to participate in the golfing tournament.
Does the cost of the Business Summit include the luncheon at the Broadmoor on Monday?
After the YWAM Golf event at the Broadmoor, there will be a luncheon that is open to anyone who would like to attend. Many times we have business people who would like to continue to network and meet with others over this luncheon but don't want to golf in the morning. You may register just for the luncheon during your registration for the Summit. The luncheon also includes a silent auction that will be open to everyone; even if you didn't golf.
